Fulton Country Club Standing Rules Revised: July 1, 2019
Opening and Closing of Course In the event of bad weather, playability of the golf course will be determined by the Golf Course Superintendent. There will be a sign posted on the way to #1 Tee.
Registration All members and guests are required to register with the Pro Shop prior to starting play.
Driving Range The driving range is open to members, their guests and the general public. Please remember to bring in all baskets when you are through.
General Rules and Regulations 1. Golf balls in the racks determine the order off of the tee except when a player is already on the tee box. Alternate with persons coming off #9 green. 2. No starting on #7 without permission from the Pro Shop 3. Effective August 26, 2024, Fivesomes will be allowed. 4. Each player must have their own set of clubs 5. Follow all signs around the greens and course 6. Let faster players play through 7. The riding carts are not allowed on the fairways on the par 3 holes and should be kept on the cart paths, except, that riding carts may approach the water on the tee side of hole #8. 8. Do not leave golf carts or bags in front of the green. Always exit from the side or back. 9. Repair ball marks on greens 10. Rake all sand traps and put rakes in the trap 11. Replace all divots or fill with seed/sand mixture 12. Golfers must wear shirts with sleeves or collars at all times 13. Children under the age of 12 must be under the supervision of an adult. No child under the age of 8 is permitted on the course at any time. Children 5 or older may use the driving range with adult supervision. 14. Stay out of the water on hole #8 15. Time limit for lost balls is 3 minutes 16. Must be the age of 16 to be able to drive a golf cart on the course unsupervised by an adult.
If a player consistently disregards these rules during a round over a period of time to the detriment of others, the Board may take appropriate disciplinary action against the offending player. Such action may, for example, include prohibiting play for a limited time on the course or in certain number of competitions. This is considered to be justifiable in terms of protecting the interest of the majority of golfers who wish to play in accordance with these rules and regulations. Men's and Ladies' Day Men's Day begins on the 3rd Thursday in April and ends on the 3rd Thursday in September. The starting time for Men's Day is at 12:00 noon. All ladies who tee off by 11:00 A.M. will be allowed to finish their 9 holes. Golfers must be 18 years or older to participate.
Ladies' Day starts on the 3rd Wednesday in April and ends on the 3rd Wednesday in September. Ladies' Day ends at 2:00 P.M. No men are allowed to tee off before this time. Golfers must be 18 years or older to participate. The Ladies' Association may have 2 special events a year. This day is for ladies only.
Guest Policy All guests are required to be with a member when playing golf. Guests are allowed an unlimited number of visits as long as they are with a member. Green Fees for guests will be determined by the Board of Directors.
Golf Cart Policy Cart shed availability will be determined by a waiting list on a first come first basis. Rates for the cart shed rental and renting of golf carts shall be determined by the Board of Directors. All carts must be rented through the Pro Shop. Pull carts may be rented on an annual or per visit basis. Please keep all carts 30 feet away from greens. Passengers in riding carts must be seated in the passenger compartment of the cart.
Lists There will be a list made up on a first come first serve basis for each of the following: 1. Regular membership waiting list 2. Members' Cart shed rental 3. Members' locker rental
Dues and Fees All dues and fees are payable in full by March 1st. The Bylaws explain this in Article V, section 3 and 4
Clubhouse Rules and Regulations The Clubhouse will remain open as long as there is enough business to warrant it. All special events will be approved by the Board of Directors. All beverages must be purchased on the premise.
Guidelines for Junior Members 1. Must be at least 8 years old, but not older than 18 and not the child of a member. 2. Junior members under the age of 12 must be under the supervision of an adult. Any Junior member 12 years or older may play by themselves. 3. Junior members under the age of 16 are not allowed to bring a guest.
Guidelines of College Members 1. Must have current college identification. 2. Must abide by all the standing rules as listed on these previous pages.
Guidelines for the Fulton High School Golf Team 1. A golf coach must be in attendance at all practices 2. Fulton C.C. dress code will be followed at all times 3. No practice will be allowed on Saturday or Sunday 4. Golf Meets will be scheduled with the Board's approval and the dates will be posted on the bulletin board
