Fulton Country Club Board Meeting
October 31, 2006

President Bielenberg called the meeting to order at 6:32 P.M.

Present: Bielenberg, Housenga, Van Zuiden, Gilbert, Rolfes, Schrader, Doughty, 
               Workman.

Absent: Harmon, Winkel

The meeting notes from the Oct. 11th annual meeting were approved.

Grounds & Greens Committee report:

Greens and Tee’s have been fertilized for winter. Snow mold not applied to greens yet, 
will apply before the snow flies (when appropriate)

Requested that Kurt have his budget for 2007 prepared by Dec. 1st for review

Chemical/fertilizer prices look like they may be lower for next year. Most orders
 placed can have payment delayed until June/July (2007) time frame.

Fairway mower will need some work before next year (new reels, rollers, bed knives)
 routine maintenance work (estimated cost $1800 parts) Kurt will do the work.

JD Turf brought a new Gator for us to try out (new cost $7500) Witt’s Small Engine 
will also give us a price on a comparable Cub Cadet which will probably be cheaper.

Estimated cost of new fountain for water pond is $800

Irrigation system was blown water free on Oct. 30th (Monday)

Fairway sand bunkers eliminated this year and ground under repair will be ready
for use next year.

Full waste oil drums at maintenance shed have been removed.

Sports Committee: Nothing to report

Financial Statement: Motion to approve by Rolfes,  2nd by Schrader

Replacement of fence along #1 fairway was $1400 plus for chain link. Van Zuiden will get
 a price for regular farm fence to be installed. Housenga will price fencing at farm & Fleet.

Craig Elsasser has agreed to assist with computer work for Website and GHIN Handicaps.

We have been fined $200 for no containment when washing equipment free of chemicals;
have until 14th of Nov. to appeal.

Rolfes made a motion to close the clubhouse, restaurant, etc. Nov. 1st  seconded by
 Doughty. May possibly be open on a daily basis depending on the weather.

RiverBend Faculty Party at Clubhouse on Nov. 10th.

Annual Board Christmas Party Sat. Dec. 2nd 5-8 PM. Prime Rib sit down dinner cost 
will be $10.00 plate. RSVP by Nov. 27th.

Gilbert will check with Marv Jech on hole sponsor signs (where to get, prices, etc) .

Motion by Housenga, seconded by Rolfes to approve ordering 3 benches for course 
to be purchased and put together this fall for next spring use.

Workman/Harmon to get a price and a plan for Men’s locker room remodel this winter 
and present to board at next meeting.
