Minutes of the Fulton Board of Directors October 28,2008 The regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of Fulton Country Club was held at the Club on October 28, 2008, at 6:30 pm. Present at the meeting were , D. Doughty, S. Workman, K. Schrader, J. Hlubek, P. Hamstra, J. Utroska, A. Housenga, and L. Gilbert. Absent was Jeff Harmon. The meeting was called to order by A. Housenga. Minutes of the meeting previously held on September 30, 2008, and the annual meeting held October 8, 2008 and the post annual meeting were read and approved without correction. The financial statement were reviewed and accepted. The Club does remain financially sound. New Business: 1. It was agreed that the Chamber membership of $100.00 would be renewed. 2. A. Housenga is looking into the printing of new score cards. 3. The Christmas Party will be held Dec. 6th 2008. 4. There is some opinion that the computer needs to be replaced. That decision will need to be tabled until next spring. 5. There has been numerous request concerning senior tees. There will input from the superintendent as to the proper placement. The final decision will be made this spring. 6. It is reported that the pool table in the dining room area receives little use and is in need of repair. The motion was made by L. Gilbert and seconded by J. Utroska that the table be removed and the area be used for tables. Motion carried. Grounds and Greens: There will be tree planting Monday, Nov. 3rd. Work that has been completed: trimmed #9 fence line, trimmed and cut down by the shop and the parking lots, trimmed around the irrigation heads and the shut off valves and started cleaning up equipment for the end of the season. Jerry Smith's last day was Oct.17th. Planned for November: Winterize the golf rental carts. Pull out water aerator and drain water out of it, clean equipment and pull reels for sharpening. The irrigation system will be blown out Nov. 5th. Snow mold applications will be applied to greens. There being no further committee or business to report the meeting was adjourned.
