Fulton Country Club Board Meeting June 26, 2007 The June monthly meeting was held at the FCC Clubhouse and was called to order at 6:40 P.M. by President Bielenberg. Present: Bielenberg, Van Zuiden, Gilbert, Workman, Harmon, Winkel Absent: Housenga, Doughty, Rolfes, Schrader A motion was made by Harmon to approve the minutes of the 5/29/07 Board meeting, seconded by Gilbert, motion approved. Rich Winkel presented the financial report.. Van Zuiden moved to approve the financial statement, seconded by Gilbert, motion approved. Grounds & Greens report: The G&G committee approved to raise the appropriated amount for the purchase of the aerator from $3000 to $3200 because shipping costs were higher than anticipated. The aerator has arrived and greens will be aerated this week per Zach. Spencer Excavating has removed the many stumps along the fence row from the hedge tree project for a cost of $400. Wages for three employees will be raised starting July 1st due to the new minimum wage law that goes into effect in Illinois. The internet now has been installed on the downstairs computer. It was restated that Club employees are not entitled to free lunches. The Golf Course Superintendent is eligible for one free meal a day as stated in his contract. Jeff Harmon still working on specs for re-roofing the Clubhouse. The Board would like to give “Special THANKS” to Linda Gilbert for her work in replanting the flower bed in front of the Clubhouse. President Bielenberg was notified by someone that her vehicle was hit by a golf ball while driving by the course on Cattail Road. She felt the club was liable for damages but President Bielenberg told her the Club is not responsible per our attorney.
