Fulton Country Club Board of Directors Sept. 9th, 2007 The meeting was called to order with the following members present: D. Bielenberg, J. Harman, K. Schroeder, S. Workman, G. Rolfes, A. Housenga, and L. Gilbert. Absent, was D. Doughty and J. VanZuiden. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. A communication of resignation from J. VanZuiden, Club Sec., was received and regrettably accepted. This position will not be filled until the Annual Meeting in October. A request was made that L. Gilbert record minutes until another secretary could be appointed. Grounds & Greens: There was quite a lengthy discussion of the possibility of improper, or lack of, maintenance of the equipment. Many volunteers have been assisting with the mowing, due to summer help returning to school and the resignation of Jerry Smith. Sports Committee: There was a good turn out for the Huesinkvelt tournament. Pro-Shop & Bar: The motion was made and approved that a ''judgement call" will be made by Betty and her staff as to closing time of the Pro-Shop. The closing time will be no earlier than 8:00 P.M. Of course, weather conditions are always a factor. Building Committee: Jeff Harman will replace the main breaker. Graham Roofing/Siding has been selected to replace the existing Club House roof. Mr. Graham will need a down payment of$3500.00. Total cost for the new roof will be $5970.00. The roof will be started Oct. 11 th and completed that Sunday. There was continued discussion on the possible repair or replacement of cart sheds. It will be brought up for discussion by the membership at the Annual Meeting. Those running for Board positions on the upcoming ballot are: Arnie Meyerman, Arnie Housenga, Don Doughty, and Jeff Harman. These candidates are for the three year positions. And, running unopposed for a one year position, is Mike Heusinkveld. (The remainder of Jerry VanZuiden's position) The financial report was given by R. Winkel. The report was approved.
