Minutes of the Fulton Country Club Board of Directors March 25, 2008 The monthly meeting of the Board of Directors was held at Fulton Country Club. Present at the meeting were the following: R. Bielenberg, A. Housenga, S. Workman, K. Schrader, J. Harmon, M. Heusenkveld, D. Doughty, G. Rolfes and L. Gilbert. The meeting was called to order by Pres. Bielenberg at 6:30 P.M. The minutes of the February 12th meeting were read. The motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved that the minutes stand approved as read. Mr. Rich Winkel presented the Financial Statement for Fulton Country Club. The Statement was unanimously approved and the Club remains financially “strong”. BUILDING COMMITTEE: The suggestion was made by Jeff Harmon to re-shingle the entire roof of the west cart shed. Jeff will contact contractors for estimated cost. SPORTS COMMITTEE: A tentative schedule for scheduled course closings for the golf season was presented to the Board. The schedule was accepted with two opposing votes cast by Gary Rolfes and Linda Gilbert. PRO-SHOP & BAR: Kathy Eisenga, has signed a contract for the position of Pro-Shop & Bar manager. A new menu that was prepared by Kathy was presented to the Board. Salaries for returning and new employees was discussed. A request was presented to have an “annual” range ball fee. It was agreed upon that a fee of $100.00 would be the fee for this season. This fee is for members only, per season and per “individual”. One vote of opposition was cast by A. Housenga. A request of donation letter was received from Hospice of Rock River Valley. The motion was made and approved that a certificate for 18 holes of golf with a cart for four golfers would be sent. The projected opening date for the course will be set by our new Course Superintendent, Josh Boone. Josh Boone was hired to fill the vacancy presented by Zach Anderson. The opening date will be dictated by weather conditions. The subject of “who” can play on a Corporate membership was discussed. Presently there are two corporate memberships. Those eligible for play are the three partners from Clifton, Gunderson, LLC and two bank officers from Central Bank, Fulton. GROUNDS & GREENS: All general maintenance on the equipment has been performed. Wayne “Tuffy” Meurs has agreed to return and will be starting Monday. There will be tree trimming again on March 29th.
