Fulton Country Club Board Meeting January 30, 2007 The meeting was held at Gary Rolfes office in Clinton, IA. President Bielenberg called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Present: Bielenberg, Housenga, Van Zuiden, Gilbert, Schrader, Workman, Doughty, Rolfes. Absent: Harmon, Winkel Rich Milton attended and requested that his son be allowed to remain on his family membership because he is serving a PGA internship program through Eagle Ridge Golf Course. He feels this is the same as attending college and should be allowed to remain on the family membership. President Bielenberg requested more information about it and the matter was tabled for the present. It will be discussed again after this information is received. A motion to approve the Dec. 19th meeting minutes was made by Doughty, seconded by Housenga. Minutes approved. Rolfes made a motion to approve the Dec. financial report, seconded by Van Zuiden. Motion approved. Sports Committee-nothing to report Building Committee-the remodeling is progressing well. It should be done by the end of Feb. or sooner. Will need a lot of clean up when complete. House Committee-Had a meeting with Betty Berner for next contract period and she has agreed to return for the 2007 season. Grounds & Greens Committee-Meetings were held in January to look through the resumes received and to narrow down the list of candidates. Interviews were held with 8 individuals starting on January 20th and concluded on January 27th. The new Supt. selected was Zachary Anderson of Grays Lake, IL. He has accepted the job and will start Feb. 15th. His contract will be for 10 months, concluding on Dec. 15th. He will be moving to this area later this week. The Fulton CC Website is now up and running. (WWW.fultonccgolf.com). Items of interest should be sent to the Website administrator. It was discovered that the advertisement sign contracts were written to run through 2007. A new sign will be placed in the driving range area and a contract let to Nelson Corp Wealth Management to advertise at this point for one (1) year at a cost of $175.00 for the one-year period. All other signs will remain intact for one (1)more year. There are two (2) holes that the yardage signs are not correct. These signs will have to be redone. Next meeting will be at Clifton-Gunderson @ 6:30 PM on Feb. 20th. This will be the budget meeting. The new Supt. will be present at this meeting.
