Fulton Country Club Board Meeting
December 19, 2006

The meeting was held in the conference room at Clifton-Gunderson in Clinton, Ia.
President Bielenberg called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.

Present: Bielenberg, Housenga, Van Zuiden, Gilbert, Schrader, Harmon, Workman, 
Winkel, Doughty. Gary Rolfes arrived about 10 minutes late but was present for the meeting.

A motion was made by Gilbert to approve the minutes of the Nov. 28th meeting, 
seconded by Doughty. Minutes approved.

Rich Winkel gave the financial report. A motion to approve the report was made 
by Doughty and seconded by Schrader. Motion approved.

L. Gilbert discussed where the advertisement on the hole sponsorships stood. 
Most people will probably be keeping their sponsorship signs with a couple of exceptions. 
Gary Rolfes will draw up a simple contract for hole sign sponsorships and include the 
price of the signs and the length of the contract period. The length will be 2 years, and the 
price is (renewal $300 for 2/years---new signs $350 for 2/years). This price includes making 
of the signs if needed.

Van Zuiden reported for Grounds & Greens Committee: Not much happening, fairway mower 
winter maintenance/rebuild should be complete before Kurt leaves.

The men’s locker room and hallway remodel project is progressing well. Petersen Plumbing is 
going to bid the drain work for the new toilets, etc. Bid will be time and material.

Harmon discussed the Fulton CC Website again and said he plans to get it up and going again 
with the help of Gary Gilbert and Craig Elsasser. 

We have received 15 resumes for the Superintendent opening thus far with probably one or two 
more to come. Everyone was given copies of the resumes and told to review and come up with 
top 6 choices for next meeting. Board members were also asked to come to the meeting with ideas 
on questions for interviewing the candidates. We also need to come up with a job description to be
 included in the new Superintendents contract along with what the term length should be.

Harmon made a motion to adjourn, Rolfes seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned at 7:35 PM

The next meeting will be held at Gary Rolfes office on Tuesday Jan. 9, 2007 @ 6:30 PM.
