Fulton Country Club Board Meeting April 24, 2007 The meeting held at the Clubhouse and was called to order by President Bielenberg at 6:30 P.M. Present: Bielenberg, Doughty, Schrader, Van Zuiden, Workman, Gilbert, Rolfes (on time this month), Housenga (late), Harmon (late). Absent: Winkel A motion was made by Doughty to approve the minutes of the March 27th meeting. Workman seconded that motion and the motion was approved by a voice vote. The financial report was reviewed and Rolfes motioned to approve, Schrader seconded the motion. Motion was approved. Grounds & Greens report was presented by Van Zuiden. Rolfes made a motion to approve the hiring of one more part-time employee (high school person) for 20-30 hours per week @ $6.50 hr. Motion was seconded by Workman, and approved by a voice vote. Schrader will work at getting written bids for stump removal of the hedge trees that have been cut down this spring. Many thanks to the people who donated their efforts to get this project completed. A motion was made and approved to hire Don Bartels to hunt and remove moles at the golf course. His price is $5.00 per mole caught and removed. Sports Committee reported that Golf League has started and we have 30 teams participating this year. A few special nights are planned for the year on Thursday nights. Building and Grounds committee has three bids for roof replacement but they are all bidding different items. Jeff Harmon to write up a scope of the job and have them all re-bid so they are bidding the same work. Jeff Harmon was given Board approval to investigate and purchase the best price for an Internet connection and installation for the club. Zach had requested this for numerous reasons and the Board felt it was a good thing to have at the Club. He also agreed to try and fix the emergency lights not working. This was noted on our inspection by our insurance carrier as an item needing attention. Housenga to get signs installed in gas pump area requested by the State Fire Marshal’s office. The existing membership list, waiting list, and cart shed waiting list were discussed at length. These will again be updated when all new members have paid their yearly dues. We called down to #43 on the waiting list to replace 27 people who dropped their memberships this year. Rolfes made a motion to adjourn at 8:10 P.M. seconded by Harmon. Motion carried.
