MINUTES OF FULTON BOARD OF DIRECTORS
FULTON COUNTRY CLUB
September 29, 2009




The regular scheduled meeting of the Fulton Country Club Board of Directors was held at the Club on Sept. 26, 2009. All Board members were present.

The meeting was called to order by Pres. Housenga. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as written. The financial report was given by R. Winkel, C.P.A. The Club remains in solid financial position and the report was accepted.

Grounds and Greens
Normal maintenance was performed. Tree stumps were removed by Foley. Discussion on wild flower planting will be done after a hard frost and also discussed planting new trees.

Building
The roof repairs have been completed. Quotes will be obtained by J. Harmon for the necessary replacement of gutters on the south side of the building.

Old Business
The fence along #9 has been repaired.
The annual purchase of additional and replacement trees will be in progress. $1500.00 is set aside each year for this program. We must remain vigilant of the ash bore disease that is in the state of Illinois.

New Business
The subject of debt reduction was discussed at length. After deliberation, the motion was made by D. Doughty to use club funds to reduce the debt by $30,000.00. The motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
Also discussed was the constant need for repair to the existing cart sheds. The motion was made, seconded and carried that the yearly cart shed rental income will be set aside in a designated account for future cart shed replacement.

The meeting was adjourned. The next regular meeting will be the annual meeting on October 14, 2009 at the club.
