MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
                               FULTON COUNTRY CLUB
                                  JUNE 28, 2011


   The regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order
by Pres. Housenga at 6:30 P.M. Members present were; S. Workman, D. Doughty, A.
Housenga, B. Fritz, J. Diesch, L. Lewis, J. Utroska. Absent; P. Hamstra, J.
Hlubeck.

Minutes of the May meeting were read and approved on a motion by Doughty and a
second by Lewis.

The financial report was given by C.P.A. Winkel and was approved on a motion by
Utroska, and a second by Lewis.


GROUNDS AND GREENS:
Chairman Doughty reported things done in June;
    1.     Brushed and double cut greens.
    2.     Sprayed Round-Up along fences and trees.
    3.     Added sand to bunkers.
    4.     Sprayed for weeds and clover
    5.     Had a flowering crab tree blow down and  had to remove the rest of
the tree.
Things to do in July:
    1. Apply fertilizer with grub control on fairways, rough, and tees.
    2. Edge sprinkler heads.
    3. Spray for weeds.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS:
   Lots of discussion about the extention to the Maint shed and it looks like a
start time of late  July or early Aug. Volunteer help will be needed.
  The State requires us to include a concrete pit for washing our sprayer when
we pour our concrete for the building extension.
   The air conditioning for the up-stairs is not doing the job. We will be
looking into fixing or buying a new unit. The present unit is 35yrs. Old and is
probably not fixable.

SPORTS:
   The Junior tournament is coming up in July.
   The Booster Club play-day did not have a good turnout and we will look into
future plans.

HOUSE:
   Business has been slow and we feel that this is weather related. We look for a better July.
OLD BUSINESS
   None.

 
New Business
   It was suggested that we move the women's tee boxes, to a new yardage of 
2300 yards for a two week trial period. Suggestion was approved on a motion by
Doughty and a second by Fritz.
   Much discussion was held on the suggestion to make a pond by #7 green.
Someone will look into the price and availability of a liner for this project.
Water will come from the pond at #8.
   The Aug. Board meeting will be held on Mon. Aug. 25th.
