MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
                              FULTON COUNTRY CLUB
                                MAY 31 2011


The regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order by
Vice President Steve Workman at 6:30 P.M.  Members present were L. Lewis, J.
Diesch, D. Doughty, J. Hlubek, P. Hamstra, R. Winkel C.P.A., B. Fritz.
Absent: A. Housenga and J. Utroska.

Minutes of the April 26 meeting were approved as read on a motion by Doughty
and second by Diesch.

The financial report was given by C.P.A. R. Winkel, and was approved as read,
on a motion by Lewis and a second by Hlubek.


GROUNDS AND GREENS:
Don Doughty reported these items were done in May:
  1. Aerified greens and tee's: Shattuck's aerifying outfit came in and 
aerified the greens and tee's.
  2. Vertical greens and put heavy Topdressing down after aerification.
  3. Foley Stump removal removed stumps along #8 tee box and has more stumps to
do behind #2 green and #3 tee.
  4. Bob Taylor worked M. W. F. in May until Kyle Workman was out of school. 
Bob said he could be a fill in guy if one of the employees is gone for a few 
days or this fall.
  5. Sprayed Broad leafs.
  6. Started to spray Round-Up.
Things to do in June.
  1. MOW, MOW, AND MOW
  2. Spray Round Up around the trees.
  3. Kyle will be edging all sprinkler heads / shut off valves.
  4. Apply grub control on fairways and rough.
  5. Spray clover areas.
  6. Brush greens and double cut greens to speed up greens / better roll.


SPORTS:
Move Fulton Boosters Tournament to Tuesday, June 21 at 12:30pm, not closing 
the course.


HOUSE:
What about the roof leak on the pump house??

 
OLD BUSINESS:
Fall work on Maintenance Building.


NEW BUSINESS:
A permanent pond to the right of #7 green.
