Fulton Country Club members were welcomed by the President and thanked for their attendance. The President presented numerous volunteer appreciation certificates to many members for the fine and appreciated volunteer contributions made to the Club during this past year. The Board position elections results are as follows: Don Doughty -- 76 (re-elected) Jeff Harman -- 80 (re-elected) Arnie Housenga -- 77 (re-elected) Arnold Meyerman -- 37 Mike Husinkveld -- 82 (ran unopposed for one year vacancy of Jerry VanZuiden) Write-in votes -- Roger Tucker -- 1 (for three year term) Steve Wheat -- 1 (for one year term) There were a total of 96 ballots cast. Volunteers were requested to serve on the nominating committee for 2008. There were no volunteers. Chuck Miller accepted the position of Chairman and will secure a committee and report those names to the Club secretary. The financial report was given by R. Winkel, CPA, Clifton Gunderson. The report was approved with very little discussion to follow. President Bielenberg opened the floor to discussion of the present state of disrepair of the oldest row of cart sheds. Many sheds are getting large amounts of water, the wood of the main beams is rotting and the roof needs to be replaced or repaired. Many ideas were offered and discussed. The most welcomed thought was replacing the oldest portions of the sheds as needed. The committee will continue research and obtain additional price quotes. Course Superintendent, Zach Anderson, gave his report on his progress on the course this year. Zach did receive a round of applause for approval on the all around course condition. A request was made by a member for the possibility of implementing a "Golden Age Passport for FCC". (See attachment) The President stated that it would be taken into consideration by the Board, but that this issue has been previously presented. The meeting was adjourned at 9:20 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Linda Gilbert, Rec. Sec.
